Another cool-looking kirin, to be sure. I don't know, but perhaps the respect paid to the legendary creature's origin may be breathing more life into this image. In any case, the sun reflecting with such power against the front and edge of the beast give it the feeling of elusive power.
This is not my favorite kirin by you, and it might be due to the emphasis on the reflection of white light instead of colored light as well as a more simple background than you usually use. However, it is still a good image and deserves to be faved.
